NC Junior Triathlon Series is back for 2025!

Returning for its second year, the NC Junior Triathlon Series is the premier race series for youth & junior triathletes in the state. Each race is approachable and welcoming for first-time triathletes, and also offers challenges for more experienced triathletes. Athletes from 7-19 years old have the chance to compete for Series Points and final Series Awards. Age groupings are small which ensure that younger kids are racing within their developmental ranges - 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, and 16-19 year olds all have their separate age groups.

For 2025 the Series has added two new races, bringing the total to 6 races across Central and Eastern NC. Highlights include the Smiley Triathlon / Kids for Kids Tri which has been rated the #1 Youth Triathlon in the US - and a brand new race called the Trivium Triple Sprint which is a fun SuperTri style race.
